Hello!
Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts New Catalog Blog Hop. If you're arriving from Yapha's blog, you've seen some awesome projects using the Fitting Occasion stamp set. Weren't the decorated tea lights and the ladybug purse adorable?? I should be receiving that stamp set from my friend Mr. Brown (UPS) today and now I can't wait to dive into the box and use it! If you've arrived from Betty's blog, I hope that you've been inspired by her amazing projects using the Clockworks stamp set. I especially loved her 3-D Collage. No worries if this is your first stop, all the blog posts are linked so that you can see all the wonderful projects made using new product from the recently released Stampin' Up! 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog.
My projects use the Layered Labels stamp set so, of course, I also used the coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits for the Big Shot to accent these great stamp images. Now that June is here, Wedding cards are some of the cards I need. Here is one that I CASEd from my Stampin' Up! upline, Catherine Harwood.

This card uses Twitterpated Designer Series Paper with the featured colors of Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, and Riding Hood Red. The sentiment on the banner comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. The best part about this card, however, is what happens when you slide off the Whisper White Organza ribbon and pull open the gate folds of this card.

How cool is that??!!?? Be sure to come visit next week for more information about how this box card is made. (The sentiment inside the card comes from the Word Play stamp set.)
My next project is a set of scrapbook pages using the rectangular Layered Label as a title block on each page. These are 8" x 8" facing pages.

These pages feature the Floral District Designer Series Paper with the featured colors of Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry. Since I already had the Big Shot out to cut the Framelits shapes, I decided to add texture to the pages using the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die and the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions embossing folder.
This project is a CASE of a card that I made last year and uses the wavy square shaped image. I made this card to thank my SASS Stamp Club members for their June orders.

Three of the 2012-2014 In Colors are featured in this card: Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, and Summer Starfruit. As with the scrapbook pages, I decided to add some texture to this card with the Big Shot and the Stripes Textured Impressions embossing folder and the Itty Bitty Banners Framelits. Gumball Green Stitched Satin ribbon "ties" the card front together. Additional stamp sets used on this card are My Friend and Tiny Tags.
My final project is a Christmas Card. My SASS Stamp Club members will begin seeing Christmas projects when the new cycle of stamp club begins in August and I figured that this would be a great time to begin working on those projects.

This card features the largest stamp image in the Layered Labels stamp set stamped with Versamark on Vellum and heat embossed with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. I added some color to the image using the "Stained Glass" technique with Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green Stampin' Write markers and then cut the image out, mounted it on Shimmery White cardstock, and attached it to a piece of striped paper from the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper matted with Shimmery White and Gumball Green cardstock. A piece of Whisper White Organza ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Cherry Cobbler cardfront.
As I mentioned earlier in this post, be sure to stop by next week for more information about how each of these projects were made, including a look inside the cards and the decorated envelopes.

I love all the different combinations of the layer you have. This is really so much more versatile that I first thought. The gold embossing on the Christmas card with the combo of stripes and dots is just PERFECT - It looks like it came straight out of the SU catalog!
