Catching up with Christmas: Framed Ornament
It's always fun to make a Christmas card using non-traditional colors. In this case, Primrose Petals. The focal point ornament was stamped on Whisper White cardstock using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and die cut with the corresponding die cut from the Holiday Ornaments Framelits. The ornament is framed with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock embossed in the Big Shot with the Holiday Frame Textured Impressions embossing folder, matted with a piece of Primrose Petals cardstock, and adhered to the Pink Pirouette card base. A piece of Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin ribbon was tied into a bow and adhered at the top of the ornament. A greeting from the Greetings of the Season stamp set was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock using Primrose Petals ink, matted with Primrose Petals cardstock and adhered below the ornament. The small round ornament from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set was stamped on Shimmery White cardstock using Primrose Petals ink, the center of the ornament punched out with the 3/4" circle punch, and adhered at the center of the large ornament.
